Sara was awarded a music scholarship to the prestigious Solihull school, and from there went on to study Vocal and Operatic studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, under the direction of Marilyn Rees.

Along her musical journey Sara has sung under the baton of notable directors such as John Rutter, Howard Goodall, Jeffrey Skidmore and Nigel Short.

She has undertaken coaching, and Masterclasses with Dame Janet Baker, Adrian Pike, Dame Felicity Lott, and Catherine Wyn-Rogers to name a few. Sara now takes lessons with Yvonne Sandison at RBC, where she is studying for her Masters of Music in Vocal and Operatic Performance.

In 2016 Sara sang the lead role of ‘Carmen’ in Bizet’s Carmen, with Great Witley Opera. Since then she has sung other operatic roles in concert/non-staged performances such as Susanna, and Mimi.

Sara thoroughly enjoyed performing in Infinite Opera Company’s triptych (opera in 3 parts) ‘Besse’ over the course of 2019, as well as singing the role of Donna Elvira in RBC’s opera scenes in 2023. She is looking forward to performing as a ‘Domestique’ in Massenet’s Cendrillon at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in March 2024.

Sara has over a wealth of experience as a concert soloist, performing on stage, TV, cinema, radio and for recordings. Her passion lies in opera, but she also sings on the classical and oratorio circuit, as well as performing for the Royal Shakespeare Company in their 2018 production of Macbeth and as the soprano soloist in their 2023 productions of Julius Caesar on tour in the UK.

On the oratorio circuit Sara has performed solos in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Mass in C, Mozart’s requiem, Faure’s requiem, Bach’s Magnificat, Rutter’s Feel the spirit, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, Brahm’s Requiem, and Haydn’s Creation.
