Soprano

Sara has over a decade of experience as a concert soloist, performing on stage, TV, cinema, radio and for recordings. Her passion lies in opera, but she also enjoys a busy engagement diary on the classical and oratorio circuit for choirs and choral societies, as well as performing for theatre companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company.

No stranger to jazz, soul, hip hop and many other genres of singing, Sara is about as versatile a singer as it gets. She is available for concerts, weddings, funerals, corporate events, flash-mobs (*and the organisation/fixing thereof), and recording projects.

Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs and bespoke pricing for your event.

Workshop leading & Conducting

Sara has a wealth of experience conducting choirs and singing groups in the workplace, in schools, colleges, and in community settings. She is regularly engaged by organisations such as Welsh National Opera, Birmingham Opera Company and Stagecoach theatre to lead singing workshops, and conduct choirs.

A favourite part of Sara’s diverse week of work is leading the refugee ‘Language through song’ singing group through Birmingham Opera Company and St Chad’s Sanctuary. She and her colleague, Melissa teach basic English language skills through singing activities, and it is very humbling to meet people from all across the world, who have such incredible stories to tell.

Sara is the choral director at all 3 of the Highclare independent day schools, in the West Midlands, and takes weekly rehearsals of an 80+ strong preparatory choir and the auditioned chamber choir ‘Rhapsody’.

As a creative music director, Sara is not only able to lead music projects and choirs, but she is also fully equipped to plan, and host concerts for cultural, arts and community organisations.

Prices start from £50 per hour, and are available upon enquiry.
